Keown says Ozil's goal was good, but Henry's Champions League goals are the best
The former Arsenal defender believes Frenchman's efforts against Inter and Real Madrid were better than German's at Ludogorets
Martin Keown was impressed by Mesut Ozil’s goal against Ludogorets on Tuesday, but believes Thierry Henry retains a ‘monopoly on Arsenal’s best Champions League goals’.
Ozil stole the headlines in midweek with a brilliantly-taken goal that completed a fine comeback for the Gunners – with Arsene Wenger’s men hitting back from two down to prevail 3-2 in Bulgaria.

Keown concedes that the German’s clever flick and dummy, which left three opponents in his wake, was a ‘great’ show of skill, but maintains that he has seen better.
For him, Henry’s solo strikes against Inter Milan and Real Madrid, in 2003 and 2006 respectively, remain the pick of the bunch for Arsenal in Europe.
Keown says Ozil's goal was good, but Henry's Champions League goals are the best
“It was a great goal but Thierry Henry's run and finish against Inter Milan was possibly better,” he said in his ‘Tackle Keown’ column for the Daily Mail.
“Henry also scored a superb goal against Real Madrid - I think he has the monopoly on Arsenal's best Champions League goals!”

Keown is, however, prepared to acknowledge that Ozil is fast becoming a talismanic figure for the Gunners in the Henry mould.
He added: “Ozil is becoming more ruthless.
“It's OK being Mr Assist, but the next step is to become the main man and start scoring goals. That's what we're seeing now from him."
