the Cesc Fabregas horror tackle that saw Chelsea man sent off in 'friendly' against Liverpool

At 1-0 up in a friendly, the Chelsea star rushed in with a reckless challenge on Liverpool's new signing
We had our first all-English clash in the International Champions Cup in the early hours of Thursday morning when Chelsea took on Liverpool.

While the West Londoners won the game 1-0 thanks to a Gary Cahill header, the game was severely overshadowed by Cesc Fabregas's horror tackle on Liverpool's new signing, Ragnar Klavan.

Taking place in the 70th minute, the Spaniard recklessly rushed in with his studs high on the 30-year old's left ankle - leaving the Estonian sprawling.
Fabregas was immediately issued a red card.

While Klavan appeared to be OK and carry on, the recklessness of the challenge shocked many.

Following the game, which was anything but friendly, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte apologised publicly for the tackle.

Fabregas also reportedly went into the Liverpool dressing room to see Klavan.
