Speaking on Loose Women earlier today, the star - who is mother to Harvey, 14, Junior, 11, Princess, nine, Jett, two, and one-year-old Bunny - revealed three kidnap plots had been foiled by police, the most recent after a disturbing device was found on her car by mechanics after she took it for a service.
Following the shock discovery, officers were called in to take the vehicle away for inspection so that they could track down the perpetrators behind the disturbing plot.
"I've been through the ordeal of kidnapping threats a few times before and it is terrifying," Katie admitted as she bravely opened up about the ordeal.
"Just a few weeks ago when I took my car in for a service, my mum got a call from the police after a mechanic had found a tracking device hidden on it. The police had to keep my car afterwards for inspection."
According to Katie, officers dealing with the case believe the perpetrators had been plotting to scam her for "a million".

The star went on to reveal that this isn't the first time her family has been targeted by kidnappers.
Previously, police foiled an attempt to take Harvey on his way to school, which cops thought could have led to a £1 million ransom demand.
When officers raided the base of a known Liverpool gang, they discovered chilling and detailed plans of her house.
Loose Women lead presenter Andrea McLean then asked Katie if, after everything she's been through, she star is now scared that someone will one day be successful in kidnapping her children.
But she put on a brave face for the cameras and insisted her family would not live in fear.

"The thing is, if they're going to get you then they're going to get you," she explained. "You can buy all the security you want. I've got panic buttons and everything like that. But if something did happen, by the time the police would be able to get to my house, they would have already got me."

Katie continued: "I live in the countryside and I don't have any neighbours or anything like that, so I do feel quite safe. I feel my kids are quite safe.
"You can't let these things affect you. It was really frightening at the time yes but you have to get on with your life."
